We started translating for the legal community in 2005. Since then, we have translated more contracts, terms of business, and certificates than we care to mention. In 2009, we were commissioned with the translation of various legal instruments from German to English for the Austrian government.
Whether it is a standard contract or an entire instrument, translating legal documents requires a methodical approach — especially when a sentence starts at the top of one page and finishes on the next — and logical thinking.
Of course, a sound knowledge of legal terminology is also needed, which is why our legal translators are either qualified lawyers, legal aides, or otherwise have years of experience in translating legal documents and focus on the field exclusively.
